Loch Lomond day out

Well 2 consecutive days of sunshine and temperatures above 17 degrees celcius qualifies as a heatwave in Glasgow so with that in mind Mrs Macd and I took the day off and headed to Loch Lomond. First stop was Balloch for a picnic lunch on the banks of the river Leven in Balloch Castle country park. After that it was a short 8 mile drive up to to lovely old village of Luss. Here we decided that we would take a short speed boat trip on the loch. Great fun and not expensive for the short trip. Highly recommend it if you get the chance stop in at Luss.
